We recognize that being a sustainable company means so much more than just working with our natural bamboo jersey, we endeavour to make a difference socially too. Our entire range is sewn from start to finish by our team of talented machinists in our Worcestershire studio and includes no plastic packaging. (This is not standard practise for most brands, choosing a factory where rates of pay are lower, and workers rights and laws not always followed)

Our team works flexibly in a way that keeps our employees happiest. The majority of the collection is made to order, which minimises a huge amount of unsold clothing waste and means we can tailor each piece to your needs. We also use our fabric off-cuts to make other small pieces, like our reusable make-up wipes.

Our collections are based on real-life discussions with the people wearing our clothes. This allows for careful, well-developed garments which will stand the test of time aesthetically and practically. From ethically sourced bamboo fabric, which is much more environmentally friendly than many materials, to our fully recyclable packaging, everything we do has sustainability at the forefront.

Lotties Eco also subscribes to the charity Project Seagrass & Ecology, who carry out conservation to fuel positive environmental change and continue the fight against our human impact on the planet. Each of your orders helps us support charities such as these, whose values we wholeheartedly support.

Our story

We started sewing with bamboo in 2015 and we haven't looked back. It's the most wonderfully soft fabric to sew, we love it and we're so glad our customers love wearing our pieces again and again.

lotties eco family owned business

We're a family owned small business, passionate about sewing, so we sew all our pieces from start to finish with our small team of talented people right here in the Worcestershire countryside.

"We can make anything from bamboo, I used to go round saying. I'm a lingerie designer so I started making knickers and now we make vicars tops as well. So yes, now we make knickers and things for vicars"

Love,
